    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
OSTEOSTORIES takes us on the journey to wellness through doctors and patients who benefit from medicine’s best kept secret, Osteopathy. Saving lives during the Spanish Flu, it’s equally effective today.

    SYNOPSIS
OSTEOSTORIES will illuminate an 18th-century medical practice that has saved the lives of millions, and helped countless patients avoid both addiction and needless surgery. OsteoStories is an episodic docu-series highlighting transformational stories of doctors and patients. Think the Netflix “Explained” series meets the NatGeo series, “The Story of Us.”

OsteoStories will touch on the history of Osteopathy as well as current stories of healing, transformation, and wellness. The practice will enter mainstream conversation making it more widely understood and requested from a pop culture perspective. The stories of doctors, patients, novices, and converts from other forms of medicine will take center stage to reveal both the benefits and the power of this time-tested form of medical treatment. The practice has played a critical role in helping to turn the tide of opioid addiction. However, it was also a contributing factor to survival rates during the Spanish Flu. The series will tie history to present practice, empowering future patients and future doctors with lessons learned.
