    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
A tucked-in bank executive takes off on an eye-opening adventure with her mother’s hunky young caregiver, helping terminal patients live out the death of their dreams.

    SYNOPSIS
Celeste is a tucked-in bank executive, stuck in a dead end job and an ill-fated marriage, whose mother Lily has been battling lung cancer for far too long. When Lily hires Eric, a cocky young caregiver, to organize her themed assisted death, Celeste wants no part of it. When Lily kicks her daughter out to protect the plans she has carefully laid, Celeste is forced to align with the caregiver she doesn’t trust, to get back on the guest list for her mother’s Rainforest-style death party.

Lily’s living funeral goes off without a hitch, but sends Celeste into a mid-life crisis tailspin. She ditches her high-powered career to join Eric on a series of outrageously-themed death proposals—along the way, waking up to the values inherent in a good life, and a good death.
