Let’s Take a Walk in the Dark
    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
In a decaying border-town ravaged by addiction, corruption, and violence, a hardened sheriff’s deputy and an unlikely ally join forces to save their families from an impending, malevolent presence.

    SYNOPSIS
In the economically blighted New York border-town of Sundown, Sheriff’s Deputy Bennett Cole fights a losing battle against drug addiction, corruption, and rising lawlessness. Barely staying afloat and abandoned by the rest of his department, he gets his first real break when a John Doe’s corpse vanishes from the town morgue. As pressure mounts to produce evidence of an organ-harvesting syndicate he believes is driving the town’s collapse, Cole is threatened with expulsion from the force.

But when rumors surface of victims exhibiting bizarre symptoms—extreme light sensitivity, unquenchable thirst—he begins to suspect the operation preys on its victims in ways no one could imagine. Searching for John Doe who may not be entirely dead, Cole finds himself targeted by border-hopping criminals and the corrupt deputies protecting them.

Just as he runs out of allies, options, and hope, a once dead Jane Doe appears—very much alive—determined to find her missing boyfriend, John Doe. Together their search drags them toward a truth darker than the town’s corruption: a clandestine network of vampires dealing in drug-laced blood. Cole and Jane will descend into the shadows and fight to expose the darkness consuming Sundown.
