SYNOPSIS
Young Muslim trans man Adam Harry from Kerala, India, dreams of becoming a commercial pilot. After escaping family persecution, he’s armed with a Kerala government scholarship, a growing fanbase, and significant media attention. Rooted in India and South Africa, with connections to Australia, the UK, and the USA, CHIRAKU explores whether the support of a few and a global media presence can help Adam defy bureaucratic discrimination and achieve his dream of becoming the first transgender commercial pilot of Indian origin.
